Overview
The space in IMDF, the Indoor Mapping Data Format, and importing IMDF into it. IMDF positions are worked out from the space’s georeference, so these need one.
Spaces don’t store room outlines, so each level is exported as a single walkway unit covering the floor, outlined from the navigation mesh’s walkable area. Landmarks are exported as amenities, doors as openings and obstacles as fixtures.
